The Roots of ORO SICANI Memberships, Sponsorships & Subscriptions

** Update as of 27 October, 2025: 
We have transitioned our Olive Tree Membership to an Olive Tree Sponsorship plan, which will be available from the upcoming season harvest in 2025 (~ early December). Existing members of our Olive Tree Membership have already been notified of this exciting evolution and how this positive change affects them. 

All members with an active Olive Tree Membership with olive trees that are still to be planted can rest assured that these will be planted in 2025 as promised :) **


EVOO Subscription

Currently we offer an EVOO subscription purchase option that renews every three months. By selecting this option you are agreeing for your nominated payment card to be charged according to this frequency and for us to send you your elected quantity of ORO SICANI Amici Prima EVOO every time this subscription renews. You can cancel at any time and you can do this in your ORO SICANI Your Grove account. Alternatively, you can email us at hello@orosicani.com.

Olive Tree Sponsorship 

Each Olive Tree Sponsorship lasts for 12 months. Each young olive tree that is sponsored will be given an individual, hand-tapped metal name tag, dictated by the ORO SICANI customer. This name tag can be that of the person who purchases the Olive Tree Sponsorship or the person to whom the Olive Tree Sponsorship is gifted. Before the end of the 12 months of each Olive Tree Sponsorship, we will email you to see whether you would like to renew the applicable Olive Tree Sponsorship/s.  
After 12 months, if the Olive Tree Sponsorship is not renewed, the sponsored young olive tree will become publicly available again to sponsor.
You also acknowledge that ORO SICANI owns every olive tree on ORO SICANI Estate, including the young olive trees that are planted as part of the ORO SICANI Olive Tree Membership. By participating in the Olive Tree Sponsorship you accept that you will not physically receive any olive tree and that the young olive tree will remain planted on ORO SICANI Estate in Sicily, Italy.

European Union 14-Day “Cooling Off” Period

Notwithstanding the above, if your EVOO shipment is being delivered into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. Your EVOO order must be returned in the same condition that you received it, unused and in its original packaging. If any item is returned that shows clear signs of use or wear we won't be able to refund you for the affected product/s.
Email us at hello@orosicani.com to arrange your return if you changed your mind within 14 days of your purchase.

Make It Right Policy: 30-Day Post-EVOO Delivery Feedback Window

We take our ORO SICANI EVOO quality very seriously. That is why we offer a 30-day feedback window after your annual ORO SICANI EVOO shipment is delivered in case you think something’s awry.
If it seems like your EVOO quality was affected in transit or there’s any other issue with your order, let us know as soon as possible within this 30-day timeframe. Please email hello@orosicani.com with a description of the snafu + any accompanying images. We will discuss with you how we can make it right :). 
To be eligible for this Make It Right Policy you must contact us within 30 days from the delivery date recorded by the courier delivering your order.

 

 

 

THE TERMS BELOW APPLY ONLY TO THE OLIVE TREE MEMBERSHIP THAT IS BEING PHASED OUT, AS OF 27/10/2025, BUT ARE HERE FOR REFERENCE FOR THOSE STILL WITH AN ACTIVE OLIVE TREE MEMBERSHIP. THE TERMS OF OUR CURRENT PRODUCT + SERVICE OFFERINGS ARE WRITTEN ABOVE. 

Your Annual Membership

When you purchase an ORO SICANI Membership (“your Membership”) you acknowledge and accept that you are signing up to receive repeat annual deliveries of ORO SICANI Extra Virgin Olive Oil (woohoo!) depending on how long you have your membership with us. 
You also acknowledge that ORO SICANI owns every tree on ORO SICANI Estate, including the olive tree saplings planted on your behalf as part of the ORO SICANI Olive Tree Membership. By participating in this membership program you accept that you are leasing the olive trees from ORO SICANI.
When you first sign up and become a new member, your payment details will be securely stored and your nominated payment card will be charged automatically based on your elected payment frequency at the time of your first purchase. 

Adjusting Your Olive Tree Membership 

At any time you can contact us via email at hello@orosicani.com to change your Olive Tree Membership, whether it’s upgrading or downsizing. This is the most efficient and effective way of making an adjustment to your Membership.
If you want to make an adjustment (and not a cancellation, in which case, please refer to the below Cancelling Your Olive Tree Membership). We will assess your request on a case-by-case basis and let you know how we can best accommodate your Membership adjustment.
Should you downgrade your ORO SICANI Olive Tree Membership, you acknowledge and accept that the  now-surplus olive trees will become available for other members, new or existing, to add to their olive grove. 

Cancelling Your Olive Tree Membership

At any time you can cancel your Membership. Unless you cancel your Membership in the Your Grove members’ portal, or email us directly to request we cancel your Olive Tree Membership, your Membership will auto-renew.
Shortly before this annual auto-renewal date, we will send you a reminder email to give you a heads up that we will soon be charging your nominated card again, unless you notify us prior to update or cancel your Membership. 
Should you cancel your ORO SICANI Olive Tree Membership, you acknowledge and accept that all olive trees that were in your grove will become available for other members, new or existing, to add to their olive grove.
